Walking while practicing

Walking while practicing can be done in different ways. You can walk on the spot, you can walk across the whole room, you can walk in certain shapes, you can walk forwards, backwards, sideways, you can walk “quietly”, walk “louder”, walk alone or with others.

All of this can be combined with a variety of conscious impulses which, among other things, contribute fundamentally to developing a sense rhythmic stability when playing, but also to practicing phrasing and playing together with others.
